Sternguard Veterans are Space Marines of the elite 1st Company of their Chapter who deploy wherever the battle lines are most vulnerable, facing down the most impossible odds with icy calm. Most often armed with bolters, their lack of heavy firepower is compensated for by the versatility of various specialist ammunitions.

Receive 40% less damage and gain suppression immunity for 20 seconds. Melee attacks have a 50% chance to do weapon knockback but the squad moves with 40% reduced speed while ability is active. Ability charged by taking 1200 damage. Cooldown 80 seconds.

Kraken Penetrator Rounds

Loads Kraken Penetrator Rounds that deal 43% more damage to Heavy Infantry, and 20% more to Commander armor compared to standard bolter ammunition.

Dragonfire Bolts

Loads Dragonfire Bolts that ignore cover.

Hellfire Bolts

Loads Hellfire Bolts that do 1.5 piercing damage per second over 4 seconds in addition to their normal weapon damage when hitting light infantry, and 1.5 piercing damage per second over 3 seconds when hitting commander armor.

Vengeance Rounds

Loads Vengeance Rounds that do 120% damage to Super Heavy Infantry compared to standard bolter ammunition, as well as increased damage to buildings and 38% more damage to vehicles.
