Guardian Squad

“The Craftworld is our home, and we are her guardians!”

As the Eldar struggle to stave off extinction, all too often, the civilians they fight to protect must take up arms themselves. Guardians are the common people of the Aeldari craftworlds, all trained to fight in defense of their homes should the circumstances require it.

Wraithsight

Allied Wraithguard within a radius of 30 of the Farseer or Warlock have their speed increased by 1. However, Wraithguard within a radius of 25 when a squad leader Warlock dies are stunned for 2.5 seconds and take 100 spore damage. Passive ability.

Exarch Defense Aura

The squad led by the Exarch takes 25% less ranged damage while in the field, and only 5% less ranged damage while in retreat. Passive ability. Requires Tier 2.

Fleet of Foot
40

Gain +3 speed for 10 seconds, but deliver 80% less ranged damage and 40% less melee damage for the duration. Howling Banshees with the Exarch also take 50% less ranged damage. Cooldown 35 seconds.

Plasma Grenade
60

Throw a grenade causing up to 260 grenade damage and weapon knockback in a 4.5 radius. Range 25, cooldown 75 seconds.

Energy Shield
60

Deploy a directional wraithbone shield that offers perfect protection to infantry behind it. Takes 5 seconds to construct.

Embolden
35

Break suppression and boost the squad's damage by 25% while taking 50% less courage damage. Duration 12 seconds, cooldown 45 seconds. Requires the Dire Avenger Exarch upgrade and Tier 2.

Repair

Repair an allied vehicle or building for 10 health per second. Does not work on biological units. Cooldown 5 seconds.

The Guardians receive plasma grenades and deployable energy shields. Increases the squad's maximum health by 33%.

Warlock  | T2

A Warlock is sent to lead the squad. Enables the Embolden ability and passively lowers the squad's received ranged damage by 20% while on the field, and 5% while in retreat.
